The long bus drive of 42 hours (2094 km) led me from Mendoza to Rio Gallegos, the capital of Santa Cruz province where the river Gallegos reaches the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and strong cold winds remind you the power and roughness of the Patagonian countryside.
